Four types of pollutants need to be treated: HC , CO , NOx and PM . Compared with gasoline vehicles, the pollution of PM with more carbon particles needs to be controlled. The exhaust temperature of diesel forklifts is lower than that of existing diesel machinery. The exhaust temperature of the muffler is generally lower than 200 degrees for a long time . Low exhaust temperature causes three difficulties: difficulty in NOx treatment, difficulty in PM purification, and blockage of DPF and catalyst sulfate. Diesel forklifts have a complicated source of diesel fuel and are not as easy to manage as road vehicles. Many vehicles use high sulfur content. Diesel forklifts are mainly the upgrade of the agricultural machinery 490 engine technology of the last century. The problem of oil burning is still a common phenomenon, and the oil has a very adverse effect on the exhaust of DPF . The reducing agent HC and CO are too small, which is not conducive to the reduction of NOx , and it is not conducive to the increase of exhaust gas temperature. The reduction of NOx requires additional reducing agent. Excess oxygen in the exhaust gas can be achieved . 6 - 15 %, the NOx reduction difficult.
